Death Valley National Park

Image
This is our first time staying outside of our home in this pandemic.  This travel plan was made within a week. Booking Hotel:  Booked hotel Stovepipe wells village.   Packing for a four day trip: Heading to Death Valley NP:   We started our trip at 2 pm before the traffic hits the road. DAY 1: Furnace creek visitor center. Harmony Borax Works:  Cool down and lunch at Visitor center again, Bad water basin: Sunset at Bad water basin.   Natural bridge Hike after sunset: It's a small 1mile round trip hike.  Different experience after sunset. Enjoyed the nice cool breeze in DVNP. DAY2: Day started by 6:15am  for us today.   Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes:                  Early morning is the best time to walk on the sand dunes, because the sand will get super hot after some time. We walked barefoot to enjoy the soft sand(though watch for thorns). Recommend to use sandals and take water to hydrate. Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes     Valley Floor:     Don't miss to stop by at the valley floo
